The Blenheim Palace Festival of Transport
Blenheim Palace offers a superb venue for our Festival of Transport. Sunday 30th August will feature the Classic Car Show and Monday 31st August will include not only the Classic Cars, but also motorcycles, Minis and VW's, Customs, Hot Rods and Americans, Kit and Sports Cars. This two day event has the added bonus of vehicle judging and an experienced motor commentator to talk us through the day's events. This is a truly unmissable event for petrolheads and a great day addition for those who happen to visit the Palace.

The Moreton-in-Marsh Show
Moreton Show, in the heart of the Cotswolds, is a celebration of all that's great about the British countryside.

It's a fabulous family day out, of farming, food, fashion and fun.

Some of the finest livestock in land are on parade - cattle, sheep, pigs poultry and goats. In the National Show of Poll Hereford Cattle, see the pampered prime beef with their glossy coats groomed with hairdryers and the fabulous feathers of our champion chickens.

Moreton hosts the National Show for our lovely Cotswold Sheep and horses and riders compete for places at the prestigious Horse of the Year Show.

Farming is all about the food on our plates and at Moreton Show we have the Country Larder Food Hall, celebrating the best of British food and drink.

If you love waxed coats and wellies - we have acres of countryside fashion. Moreton Show is a shopper's paradise - you can buy everything from a combine harvester to a cookery book.

Tetbury Food & Drink Festival
September is traditionally harvest time for many and in Tetbury , many are looking forward to the annual Food and Drink Festival held over five days in the Town.
As always everything kicks off on Wednesday the 16th with the gathering of the Gloucester Old Spot Sausage Appreciation Society at The Close Hotel; and this year we are thrilled to have as our guest Speaker Cotswold Life's very own Poet Extraordinaire Mr Peter Wyton. We will raise our forks in praise of what many consider the best pork in the country making the event even more special is that the Sausages are devised by local people and then created especially for the Festival by Sausage Supremo Mr John Newman from Jesse Smith Butchers.

Tetbury Music Festival
Each year the aim is to bring leading instrumentalists and singers to Tetbury, and previous performers read like a Who's Who of the classical world & 2015 will be no exception. This year, the concerts will start on Wednesday evening with the popular Heath Quartet playing Haydn, Beethoven and Tchaikowsky.
Thursday sees the return of our own Joseph Middleton, this time accompanying the soprano Caroline Sampson who was given stunning reviews at last year's BBC Proms. On Friday, as a Festival first, we have a wind concert & the Marsyas Ensemble playing Handel and Fasch, the former's increasingly becoming better known contemporary.

Bibury Duck Race
The annual Bibury Duck Race is one of Gloucestershire's more unusual traditions, pulling in the crowds from far and wide each year on Boxing Day, and 2015 will be no exception.
Every year, usually at 11am on Boxing Day, the small, picturesque and tranquil village of Bibury is transformed as hundreds of spectators wrap up in the their woolly hats and scarves to gather along the River Coln which runs through the village.
