Giffords Circus
Established in 2000, Giffords Circus is a small circus company that delivers circus / theatre fusion to the villages and market towns in the Cotswolds. It combines dance, comedy, horses and live music in a one hour show, located on village greens in a small white tent surrounded by hand-made burgundy and gold showmans wagons.

The Festival of British Eventing takes place at Gatcombe Park, the spectacular home of the Princess Royal and her family and incorporates the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships. As well as a weekend of top class eventing there will be a shopping village, arena attractions and entertainment for all the family.

Batsford Bug Hunt
Find the creepy crawlies hidden around the arboretum, mark their location on our map using the stickers provided and pick up a goodie bag!

Children must be accompanied by an adult for whom the normal arboretum entrance fee applies.

The Big Feastival
The Big Feastival, presented by Jamie Oliver, returns again as a 2 day family friendly event combining food from some of the country's top chefs with a top drawer selection of live music acts. This year it takes place at Alex James' farm in Chipping Norton and will be raising funds for Jamie Oliver's Better Food Foundation to help change the lives of disadvantaged young people. Think village fete with a music festival vibe, the event offers a weekend out for the entire family, and all kids can go free.

Five Valleys Festivals
The Stroud Valleys lie on the western edge of the Cotswold Hills. A festival for each of the five valleys converging on the historic town of Stroud. This is a chance to explore and celebrate an area often called the Undiscovered Cotswolds, showing the creativity of its people, quality food and drink, its countryside and wildlife, great walking and environmental sustainability.

Moreton Show
True Cotswold Countryside event. Traditional one day Agricultural and Horse Show in a parkland setting with competitions for horses, cattle (including the National Show of Poll Hereford Cattle), sheep (including the National Show of Cotswold Sheep), goats, poultry, dogs, crafts, flowers and even scarecrows. Over 300 trade stands selling everything from farm equipment and gardening gear to designer clothes and toys, as well as a wide selection of food and drink, complemented by a full day of family entertainment.

Tetbury Food & Drink Festival
The 2014 Tetbury Food and Drink Festival takes place from 17th - 21st September. There are a number of events planned including the annual gathering of the Gloucestershire Old Spot Sausage Appreciation Society on the 17th at the Close Hotel in Tetbury, A fabulous happening at Highgrove on the 18th home to TRH Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Vegetarian Evening at Café 53 and a charitable fundraising event on Sat 20th with WSP Sols at the Market Hall. Cheltenham Racecourse The Open at Cheltenham Racecourse, is three days of the best that racing has to offer and is the biggest and most important meeting of the first half of the Jumps season anywhere in the country. It provides thrilling competition between many of the best Jump horses in Europe, large and enthusiastic crowds creating a special atmosphere.

Moreton Christmas Fair
Moreton's 5th Christmas Market with over 50 stalls lining the High Street selling a great selection of Christmas gifts and food including soaps, candles, jewellery, hand made products for the home, wooden gifts, festive wreaths & garlands to name a few. Further Charity and Local Organisation stalls in the Redesdale Hall, also from 9 am. Local singers and carol singing by the local schools will be on the stage during the day. Carol Service in the afternoon followed by the arrival of Father Christmas & Light Switch-On. Father Christmas will then be in his Grotto in The Redesdale Hall for Children to visit him. Starts at 9 am Free Entry.

North Cotswolds Hunt
North Cotswolds Hunt, Broadway Hundreds of people descended on the village of Broadway to see the horses and hounds of the North Cotswold Hunt. Up to 70 mounted horses meet at The Kennels in Broad Close for the traditional meet. Normally sets off down the High Street around 11.00am.

Bibury Duck Race
The annual Bibury Duck Race is one of Gloucestershire&#xu2;019s more unusual traditions, pulling in the crowds from far and wide. Every year, usually at 11am on Boxing Day, the small, picturesque and tranquil village of Bibury is transformed as hundreds of spectators wrap up in the their woolly hats and scarves to gather along the River Coln which runs through the village.
