Christmas Eve

Once you have arrived at the Hare & Hounds Hotel and settled in, enjoy a cup of tea and toasted teacake in one of our elegant lounges.

Meet members of the Management team for Canapes and a glass of sparkling champagne before indulging in a delicious five course dinner in the Beaufort Restaurant. Gentle entertainment will be provided by our guest pianist.

For guests who have decided to attend midnight mass at one of the local churches, Mulled Wine and warm Mince Pies will be available on your return.

Christmas Day

Christmas day begins with a full English 'Cotswold' breakfast in the Beaufort Restaurant.

A tempting five course traditional Christmas lunch will be served in the Beaufort Restaurant from midday.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure, then join us in the evening when Chef is serving a light Buffet supper from 7.00 to 8.30pm.

Boxing Day

After a full English 'Cotswold' breakfast, you will have plenty of time to enjoy a walk around the Westonbirt Arboretum, perhaps do some window shopping around Tetbury’s many antique shops, a drive to Bibury for the famous Boxing Day Duck race or maybe a visit to one of the many other beautiful Cotswold towns and villages!

Full afternoon tea and traditional Christmas cake will be served in the Beaufort lounge from 4.00-5.30pm

This evening is a chance to dress up for our Boxing Day Gala dinner and dance. Black tie and cocktail dresses are the order of the day for your final night of celebration at the Hare and Hounds Hotel.

After breakfast we wish you farewell and a safe homeward journey.
