Christmas Eve
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at The Bay Tree Hotel. Once you have relaxed into the surroundings, join us for a cream tea with homemade scones, clotted cream and homemade strawberry Jam. The evening starts with a Champagne and canapé reception hosted by the hotel manager, and a chance to meet your fellow guests, followed by a candlelit five-course dinner in the award-winning Bay Tree Restaurant with entertainment from our resident pianist. Should you wish, you are welcome to attend Midnight Mass in one of the local churches in Burford, upon your return to the hotel mulled wine and warm mince pies await you.

Christmas Day
Take breakfast at your leisure and relax by the fire or enjoy a bracing stroll around the village of Burford before our team of talented chefs serve a traditional four-course Christmas lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a traditional board game, a snooze by the fire or simply relax in the time honoured tradition of the Queen's Speech. In the evening there is a hot and cold buffet served in the conservatory.

Boxing Day
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then spend the day at your leisure. Enjoy a stroll around Burford, a visit to the picturesque village of Bibury to watch the annual Duck Race or possibly venture further a field and explore the beautiful villages found throughout the Cotswolds. The evening begins with a glass of Champagne before a magnificent five-course black tie dinner and dance with our live duet.

December 27th
A traditional full English breakfast is served. A fond farewell to some and a day to relax unwind for those who wish to extend their stay.

Stay an extra night for a very special rate from £85 per person, per night inclusive of a three-course dinner, accommodation and traditional Cotswold breakfast. Price is based on a standard room, upgrade charges will apply.
