Christmas Eve (December 24th)
Arrive at the Bay Tree Hotel to a Cotswold afternoon tea, with toasted hot teacakes served in one of the cosy lounges. The evening starts with a Champagne reception where you will meet your fellow guests and hotel management team, followed by a candlelit three-course dinner in The Bay Tree Restaurant.
If you wish, you are welcome to attend Midnight Mass in one of the local churches in Burford, such as St. John the Baptist. Upon your return to the hotel we will have mulled wine and hot mince pies waiting for you.
Christmas Day (December 25th)
Take a leisurely breakfast and find out whether Father Christmas has delivered his presents. A traditional five-course Christmas lunch will be served in the restaurant.
Afterwards relax in the time-honoured tradition of the Queen’s Speech followed by tea and homemade Christmas cake. In the evening there is a hot and cold buffet served in the conservatory.
Boxing Day (December 26th)
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then spend the day in Burford, or venture further afield and explore the beautiful villages found throughout the Cotswolds. For those wishing to return to the hotel, lunch is served in the Bay Tree restaurant (non residents £17.95 per person).
A black tie dinner and dance will take place in the rosette awarded Bay Tree Restaurant.
December 27th
After a full English breakfast we wish you farewell. Alternatively take advantage of our extended nights stay offer.
