Painting Courses

Andalucian Adventures are specialists in painting courses.

Courses take place at The Bear of Rodborough Hotel. Originally built in the 17th century this former coaching inn is today privately owned and provides very comfortable rooms, wonderful food and a relaxed atmosphere. Situated right on the edge of Rodborough Common, there is lovely easy walking right outside the door.

Five valleys and the south escarpment

With both the business and senior tutors being based in this area, Andalucian Adventures chose to centre their holidays here in the famous five valleys region of the Cotswolds.

Bounded by the Roman towns of Cheltenham, Cirencester and Bath and the magnificent Severn estuary to the west, it remains an undiscovered part of the Cotswolds where secret valleys open to disclose country houses and churches standing in the same solitude as centuries past.

Dating back to the iron age lies Minchinhampton Common – a large plateau of land with magnificent views, and still grazed today by cattle as a common right. Tucked into the hill just beneath this common lies The Bear of Rodborough – the base for all Andalucian Adventure holidays and short courses.
