Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the bar and lounges and its extensive selection of wines and local ales. With its 600 year old stone-flagged floor and four log fires, the bar and lounge draws in locals and hotel guests alike. In colder or wetter days, the perfect escape and in warmer moments, a treat to stop at…all together, simply relaxing.
There is an extensive menu if you should wish to dine with us. The style of fayre features many bar classics such as our now famed steak, ale and mushroom pie and diversifies into pseudo-fine dining with more intricate dishes. Snacks, deli-boards and open sandwiches are always available as lighter options. This is available daily from 12-9.30pm and is complimented by a changing specials board.
Dogs are very welcome, in fact are served a bowl of water and biscuit on arrival. We only request that your four-legged friend is kept on a lead and kept below dining height.
When visiting we hope you will see why Conde Nast Johansens chose the Lamb as their Inn of the Year 2009 and 2012 at their annual Awards for Excellence.
“The simple highlight for me was the second evening spent relaxing in a cosy lounge, with a roaring fire, glass of wine in hand and dinner where we sat... it was so perfect.”
“If you are looking for a pub that has all the charm of the Cotswolds with all the style and service of a Top London Hotel then look no further the Lamb Inn has it all. I have lost count of how many times I have been to this pub and even though we live a fair few miles away we still visit at least once a week for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.”
