Christmas Eve

Your arrival at The Swan Hotel will be met with a warm welcome. Once settled into your room,  you may relax by a crackling log fire with tea and toasted teacakes or take a leisurely stroll around the Cotswold village of Bibury.

Join our management team for a glass of chilled Champagne and canapés before you sit down to a festive candlelit dinner in our renowned Signet Restaurant. After dinner a ten minute walk along the River Coln brings you to the picturesque St Mary’s Church for Midnight Mass. Warm mince pies and mulled wine await your return to the hotel.

Christmas Day

Start the day with a traditional English breakfast in the Café Swan. The rest of the morning may be spent at your leisure while our talented chef and his brigade prepare a Christmas Day luncheon to be remembered, including the traditional roasted Christmas turkey. After all the excitement, you are welcome to retire to the bar or take an afternoon stroll around the lovely village of Bibury.

The day draws to a close with a delicious light buffet supper served in Café Swan.

Boxing Day

After breakfast you may spend the day at your leisure, perhaps visiting one of the pretty Cotswold villages in the area or taking part in the famous Bibury Duck Race. Join in the Christmas spirit and cheer on the ducks to raise money for local charities.

Relax during the afternoon in preparation for a five-course gourmet dinner served in the Signet Restaurant - black tie optional.

27th December

After a full English breakfast we wish you farewell. Alternatively take advantage of our extended nights stay offer.
