Fancy a pint? We have the perfect friendly atmosphere to go with it, helping you to relax after a day’s work or unwind at the weekend, whether you’re a local or a visitor – the more the merrier. Sink into a cosy armchair by the crackling log fire with a book, or have a chat with friends. There’s always a treat to be had in The Bear Bar, whether it’s a pint of cask ale, a naughty hot chocolate with marshmallows, or a pot of English tea with one of the chef’s homemade cakes.

Feeling a little hungrier? Don’t worry; we have just the thing to satisfy your cravings with a tasty menu of relaxed lunches and good hearty suppers.

On warmer days, make the most of the great outdoors at our Pavilion Garden Bar! Expect a real garden party feel with fairy lights, deckchairs and classic Kilner jars filled with your favourite treats… there’s even a retro popcorn machine and slushies for grown-ups! Weather dependant, the Pavilion Bar is open daily serving drinks and a menu of family favourites from handmade scotch eggs, hot dogs and pizza to a selection of salads, sandwiches and more. Garden games will keep the kids entertained whilst pigs ears are the perfect treat for four-legged-friends after their ‘walkies’ on the common!

Our Locations

Stroud, Gloucestershire

Nestled amongst The Cotswold wool towns, Stroud is known for its cafe culture, arts and crafts. Nicknamed the “Covent Garden of The Cotswolds” by Jasper Conran, the surrounding Cotswold Hills exhibits stunning views that stretch all the way to Wales. These have since inspired the work of the many artists who have come to live in the local area.
