21st September 2016

Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence

On Tuesday 20th September, The Broadway Hotel were delighted to have been awarded ‘Best Hotel’ in the prestigious Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence, having beaten some stiff competition!

The Awards were presented in the beautiful setting of Eastnor Castle with Duty Manager, James Exton and Head Chef, Eric Worger accepting the award on behalf of the hotel. The team at The Broadway Hotel can be extremely proud, having beaten fellow shortlisted hotels Stanbrook Abbey (Callow End nr. Worcester) and The Cotford (Malvern) to first place.

As a winner of the official tourism awards for  Worcestershire, The Broadway Hotel has now qualified to compete in the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2017, which will be announced in Spring.

The Broadway Hotel has benefited from significant investment this year including a refurbishment of all bedrooms and a new look in the Brasserie. They have also introduced new promotions including a two-course Light Lunch for £9.95 in the Brasserie, and local Beer Paddles in the bar, providing a great way to sample the quality of food and drink they have on offer.

Having been acquired by Michael and Pamela Horton in 1997, The Broadway was the first hotel in the Cotswold Inns and Hotels collection, and the hotel has been run by General Manager Richard Tebay for the last 2 years.

Michael Horton said “I’m thrilled for Richard and the entire team at The Broadway Hotel who have worked extremely hard over the last few years to make the hotel what it is today; it is thanks to their commitment and high service standards that The Broadway has achieved this well-deserved recognition”.
