If you are staying with us in the Cotswolds over Bonfire Night, there are lots of places to see fantastic fireworks displays, just remember to bring your wellies and wrap up warm!
Here are a selection of those taking place near our hotels in 2018…
Thursday 1st November – Moreton-in-Marsh
Start November with a bang at The Fire Service College in Moreton, where the team will be hosting their annual charity bonfire and fireworks night!
Hot food and drink will be available throughout the evening and fairground rides will ensure that the whole family is kept entertained. This year, the event will be raising vital funds for the Cheltenham ICU and Firefighters Charity.

Friday 2nd November – Stow on the Wold
Head to the Cricket Ground in Stow for a Bonfire and Fireworks bonanza on 2nd November organised by the town council. The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm and there will also be a pig roast, candy floss, children’s rides and free parking in town!

Saturday 3rd November – Cheltenham
The Bonfire Night Extravaganza is back for another year at Cheltenham Racecourse and is one of the biggest fireworks displays in the region! Kids’ favourite PJ Masks will make an appearance on the evening with gates opening from 5pm for fairground attractions and refreshments before the main event! Tickets available in advance or on the gate.

Saturday 3rd November – Minchinhampton
Celebrating their 150th Anniversary in 2018; this popular bonfire night event is set to be bigger than ever this year! Gates at the Minchinhampton School will open at 5pm ready for fireworks at 6.30pm and all entry fees go to the School. There will also be a BBQ and bar on site so you can sit back and enjoy the show!

Saturday 3rd November – Tetbury
Organised annually by the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds; a roaring bonfire and dazzling display of fireworks will be held at Sir William Romney’s School Tetbury with gates open from 5pm on Saturday 3rd November
Saturday 3rd November – Cirencester
Head to Victoria Road Field in Cirencester for their annual fireworks show – a highlight on the Cotswolds calendar! Hosted by the towns Round Table, this event promises a fantastic display plus lots of exciting entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Gates open at 5pm with fireworks starting at 7pm.

Sunday 4th November – Witney
Entry to the Witney Rugby Football Club is FREE on Sunday to enjoy their Fireworks spectacular and ‘Best Dressed Guy’ competition! Gates open at 6pm – we recommend getting there early for a good view of the action!
