We have taken our magnificent 16th century manor house, installed some comfortable beds to make up 34 beautifully designed bedrooms, and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and bar to tantalise your taste buds with views overlooking our stunning gardens.

Our superior four-poster bedrooms are stylish and characterful with lots of room to relax. Each one has a feature bed, charming original features and lavish en-suite bathroom with Molton Brown toiletries and cosy bathrobes – some even have a free-standing bathtub with flat-screen TV.

Deluxe Double or Twin Room

Our two deluxe rooms are our largest in the main hotel, both can be king size or twin-bedded dependent on your preference. One deluxe room located on the first floor, with a beautiful country-house style bedroom, lounge and bathroom with a roll top bath and separate shower, enjoys views over the beautiful Cotswold-stone High Street.

The second deluxe room located on the second floor, hosts a sofa bed in the lounge, which is perfect for families, plus separate dressing room and en-suite with large walk-in shower, all overlooking the beautiful garden.

Each one is well-stocked with tea, Nespresso coffee, luxurious Molton Brown toiletries and cosy bathrobes.

Apple Cottage with Private Hot Tub

Located at the bottom of our beautifully manicured garden; Apple Cottage is a perfect Cotswold-stone retreat with its own private garden and hot tub! On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy sitting room and stylish lounge which opens out onto your private terrace. Upstairs, the spacious bedroom boasts a super-king size bed and the bathroom is home to both a freestanding bath with flat-screen tv and double walk-in shower.

Accessibility

Outlined below is some information that we hope will ensure you enjoy your visit to The Manor House Hotel regardless of whether your life is affected by a medical condition, disability, impairment or specific learning difficulty. We have tried to include as much accurate detail as possible in our Accessibility Statement but would welcome your feedback in order to continuously improve on the information we give.

Before you arrive:
Enquiries and reservations can be made by phone, e-mail, on our website or in person.

Directions to our hotel can be found on our website or we can send them by e-mail to you. Alternatively, if you need a taxi to the hotel from Moreton-in-Marsh train station (4 minutes walk) we would be pleased to book a car for you.

When you arrive:
Limited car parking is available to the front of the hotel with plentiful car parking to the rear although this is some distance from the hotel along a gravel path not suitable for wheelchairs. We recommend stopping at the front door where we will assist with luggage and direct you to suitable parking. We will be delighted to show you to your room and deliver your luggage. Access to reception is available via ground level and there are no steps to negotiate.

Reception:
Reception is immediately inside the front door on ground level.

The desk is at an accessible level and we offer a check-in service away from the desk if this is more suitable.

Public Areas:
The corridors are well lit and are a mixture of carpet, hardwood flooring and flagstone tiles.

All the public areas are on the ground floor with the exception of the Sezincote function suite which is down two steps.

There are two well equipped accessible toilets on the ground floor both of which can be accessed without negotiating steps.

All doors throughout the hotel are wide enough for wheelchair access.

There is a lift to the 1st and 2nd floors which has access to a number of bedrooms without a change in floor level. The lift accommodates a wheelchair.

The Beagle Bar, Brasserie and  Mulberry Restaurant.
There is ample movable seating in all 3 areas and chairs with or without arms can be provided along with chairs of differing heights.

Background music is played in all three areas.

Waiter service is available throughout.

All areas are well lit with good natural lighting.

Accommodation:
There are 10 rooms accessible from the lift without negotiating stairs however these bedrooms are not adapted in any way and do not have grab rails.

32 out of 35 bedrooms have bathrooms on the same level as bedrooms.

There are non-slip mats available for use in the baths and showers.

33 out of 35 bedrooms have showers over baths with 2 having a separate walk-in shower.

Kiftsgate Bedroom:
This room has been specially adapted whilst retaining the character and charm of this 16th Century building.

A spacious bedroom allows for ease of manoeuvrability of wheelchairs and such like.

It has a spacious walk-in wet room with appropriate grab rails, handles and extra high toilet.

A shower chair is also available if required.

The room has a pull cord alarm system located in the bedroom and the bathroom linked directly to the hotel reception.

The fire alarm system uses bells and there is a visual indicator in this particular room.

Function suite / Conference rooms
These are all on ground floor level however the Sezincote Suite is located down two steps.

There is moveable seating available and chairs with or without arms can be provided.

Additional Information:
The fire alarm system uses bells and there is a fire evacuation plan for disabled guests in place. Assistance will be given if necessary.

Wheelchair ramps can be provided within the hotel for ease of access and will be set up and dismantled by the staff.

Well behaved dogs and service dogs are welcome. There is no charge for service dogs.

We are able to use the front doors in the event of an evacuation. The bells will ring continuously if an evacuation is required. Please let us know on arrival if you require assistance for evacuating.

We would be pleased to provide larger print menus. Please let us know upon reservation should you require this service.

Sustainability

Cotswold Inns & Hotels is committed to working in a sustainable way and take care to reduce, re-use and recycle. We are continually working to improve our standards, which include:

  • Using low energy lighting
  • Switching off all equipment when not in use, where possible
  • Only lighting log fires during cooler weather
  • Using local suppliers for food, drink and other consumables where we can
  • Composting garden waste, recycling paper and card and sending cooking oil to be converted to biodiesel
  • Asking guests to conserve water and switch off TVs when not in use
  • Replacing towels when requested
  • Supporting the local community by offering sponsorship and raffle prizes, as well as discounted rates for local businesses needing accommodation.

Terms & Conditions

Making a booking
By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions. When your booking has been made a confirmation will be sent to you by email using the email address that you have supplied, or by post. Booking confirmations are subject to the availability of accommodation at the hotel. You should carefully check the details of your confirmation as soon as you receive it. You must contact Cotswold Inns and Hotels Ltd immediately if any of the details are incorrect or incomplete. We will always endeavour to rectify any inaccuracies or accommodate any alterations you wish to make to your booking. We cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies that are not brought to our attention within seven days of issuing your confirmation, nor can we accept responsibility for inaccurate information that you have supplied.

Paying for your booking
At the time of booking, card details will be required to guarantee your reservation. In some instances, a deposit or full non-refundable pre-payment may be required at the time of booking, or at a stated date prior to your arrival. The amount of payment required at the time of booking will be advised to you when making your booking. In all cases full payment will be due on departure from the hotel unless prior written agreement has been received by Cotswold Inns and Hotels Ltd. Unless stated as part of your booking, additional items such as (but not limited to) the cost of external telephone calls, meals, drinks, items from the mini-bar and travel expenses, are not included in the price of your stay. If you incur any such additional costs you must settle the sum involved prior to your departure from the hotel.

Price changes
Cotswold Inns and Hotels Ltd reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold breaks at any time. The price of your chosen break will be confirmed when your booking is made and, with the exception of any errors, we will not increase this price once it has been confirmed. We reserve the right to correct any errors in advertised and confirmed prices and will do so as soon as we become aware of an error. We will notify you of any price discrepancies relating to your booking should they arise, but we strongly advise you to check that the final price of your booking is correct before making your final confirmation.

Amendments to your booking
You should notify us of any amendments to your confirmed booking by telephone or in writing as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and those made within the 74-hour cancellation period (see below) may be subject to cancellation charges.

Cancellations
In order to avoid cancellation and/or non-arrival charges, guests should observe Cotswold Inns and Hotels Ltd’ cancellation policy, which is up to 2pm three days prior to arrival. This includes advance cancellation of any supplementary activities or tickets that may have been issued. Failure to cancel in advance will result in a charge equivalent to the value of your booked stay charged to your credit or debit card. If you have paid a deposit, made full payment or paid for any supplements – the sum may be non-refundable. Please check with the hotel at time of cancellation. We strongly recommend that guests seek appropriate travel insurance cover in case of any unforeseen circumstances arising causing a need for you to cancel your reservation.
